Alumni Spotlight:
Dario Boyce

My brother was a part of NSBE at BU and hearing about NSBE while he was in college made me want to join NSBE once I got on campus, as that was a major support system for him.  Also, NSBE was the only black organization on campus for me to meet and connect with my peers.

While I was Chapter president back in 2012-2013, there were several alumni who stayed in touch with the chapter, came back often and were visible and supportive of what we were doing. As a result of that, I wanted to pay it forward and have stayed in contact with several members since I’ve graduated.

The most important thing about NSBE for me is the family-oriented nature of the organization. NSBE has kept me grounded throughout my college career and many of the relationships I have gained through NSBE, I have tried to maintain to this day.

My main goal this year is to expand the alumni network of the chapter, so that alumni can have an opportunity to be more involved and connected with the chapter.

That’s providing that I ate. It was probably a chicken salad and ham panini with extra pickles on the side.
