About Us
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is one of the largest student governed organizations in the world. With over 600 NSBE collegiate chapters, Wentworth Institute of Technology is located in the heart of Fenway. Wentworth NSBE has birthed numerous businesses, trained thousands of corporate leaders and graduated thousands of engineers. The Wentworth NSBE chapter is dedicated to increasing the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.

At Wentworth, NSBE creates programs designed to introduce and stimulate the interests of young minds when it comes to the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. The goal is to aid these students in excelling academically so they can attend college and to encourage them to pursue technical degrees. With over 70 chapter members, we hope to instill ideologies of success and belonging while navigating through professional spaces.
